Move where `globalOutbound: null` is implemented.

We can't just create a custom `SubrequestChannel` inside the API implementation as in the production runtime it will be necessary for the system to recognize the `SubrequestChannel` object and extract its implementation so that it can be thread-independent. So, we have to represent `globalOutbound` as a `Maybe` until it gets deeper into the system.

This commit also adds tests for both null and inherited `globalOutbound`, as these weren't tested before.
